April 2026 is the last time we will see Venus and Uranus together in the sign of the bull until the year 2102.
Uranus in Taurus dances animal dances, puts our feet in the funky ripeness of soil, asks that we attenuate ourselves to the ecstatic intelligence of sensual awareness, and exonerates our animal nature.
Together, we will create, converse, move, and dream into what this particular planetary time wants to say before departing our sky for decades.
Taurus is a Venus ruled sign, and for the last ~8 years, Uranus has been transiting through this sign, lending our modes of experimentation, liberation, and innovation a markedly earthly and relational tone.
While the erratic, unpredictable, and sometimes change-hungry rhythm of Uranus can feel unnerving to the Taurean aspect of our psyches - which appreciates constancy - it has been a most potent invitation to dream liberation into areas that we thought may never change.
A chorus of blazing stars coming to reorganize the tectonic plates of our souls and life, finding us in mutual celebration and despair for the changes, sacrifices, and new selves that we are asked to meet.
As this transit comes to a close, we may tenderly trace the exposed fault-lines of our security, learn the language of previously un-voiced desires, and slowly, very slowly, like a bull’s hooves scuffling through a garden, enter into the new terrain we have made space for.
Venus shares a final Taurean kiss with Uranus before ushering into Gemini
As we prepare for Uranus to leave this Venus-ruled sign after nearly a decade, Venus herself shows up as an escort, guiding Uranus across the threshold of her domain and opening the gates into Gemini.
Venus enters Taurus on March 30th, joins Uranus at the very last degree of Taurus on April 23rd, and later that same day, leads the way into Gemini. Two days later, Uranus follows Venus’s path, leaving the sign of Taurus for nearly 80 years.
Let’s dream this through the body. We will join for four sessions of movement, creative prompts, and dream dialogue with these planets. Our last meeting will coincide with the departing conjunction between Venus and Uranus on April 23rd, where we will ritually honor the closing of this chapter and work with both planets to bless our path ahead.
